B2 German: professional level for healthcare, engineering and study
B2 means you can follow a work meeting, argue a point and write a structured email without translating in your head. Nurses, doctors and many German-taught degree programmes need it.
For nursing and medical recognition, B2 general German usually comes before the Fachsprachprüfung.

- • Read the questions before the text.
- • Underline the one word that decides the answer, not whole sentences.
- • Never leave a gap empty, wrong answers cost nothing extra.
Hören · Listening
- • Listen for numbers, times and places first.
- • If you miss one item, drop it immediately and follow the audio.
- • Practise with normal speed audio, not slowed down clips.
Schreiben · Writing
- • Learn five opening and five closing lines by heart.
- • Answer every bullet point given in the task.
- • Use weil, deshalb, trotzdem, außerdem to connect ideas.
Sprechen · Speaking
- • Speak slowly and finish your sentences.
- • A simple correct sentence scores better than a broken complex one.
- • Ask your partner questions, it is part of the mark.
Grammatik & Wortschatz · Grammar & vocabulary
- • Learn every noun with its article and plural together.
- • Verb second in main clauses, verb last after weil.
- • Review your own mistakes weekly instead of new rules daily.
